Kinship Care Resource Center Closed for Facility Upgrades
(Clayton County, GA)- The Kinship Care Resource Center, located at 849 Battle Creek Rd., Jonesboro, GA, will be closed to the public starting Mon., Feb. 24, 2025, until further notice. Interior upgrades, funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), have already been completed, included renovated bathrooms, fresh paint, improved lighting, and new ceiling and wall finishes. The final phase of renovations will focus on the exterior, featuring a new canopy entrance and two Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps to enhance accessibility.
